To be a member of the swim team, you must be a member or lessee of Vienna Aquatic Club during the current summer season. There is an additional registration fee for swim team participation.

VAC enjoys a beautiful 8-lane pool with plenty of shady grassy areas, a baby pool, and amenities. For information about membership, visit vacpool.org.

Competition

VAC competes in the Northern Virginia Swimming League, founded in 1956 and host to 102 pools in 17 divisions. NVSL promotes “a love for the sport, advanced aquatic skills, teamwork, and principles of good sportsmanship.” For more information, see mynvsl.com. In 2026, VAC will compete in Division 2.

VAC also participates in the Vienna Development League with several area pools for Monday night B-Meets, open to all Gators.

There are plenty of development and competitive opportunities for swimmers of all levels!

Fun

In addition to all the fun we have in the water, the Gators also bond as a team through various social events like pep rallies, team breakfasts, laser tag, movies, mini golf, and more. We cap the year with a team banquet to celebrate every swimmer’s accomplishments, from the tallest to the smallest.
